Climate360° is a collaborative agency committed to climate advocacy and knowledge sharing. At its heart is a partnership between Andrew Mackenzie and Sam Redston, who have worked together for several years delivering talks, forums and workshops on design innovation in our cities and built environment. Climate360° takes lessons learned over this last decade and applies them to the evolving world of climate change.
Sam Redston
A seasoned producer driven by a passion for collaborating with exceptional individuals, Sam thrives on nurturing and realising ambitious creative visions. Since 2008, Sam has run his own businesses delivering creative projects including festivals, concerts, art installations, conferences and special events, as well as taken on full-time roles to pursue larger scale outcomes. He excels at translating creative visions from their initial, unrestrained conceptual stages into practical, safe, and timely outcomes, delivered within budget constraints.
Sam is a staunch advocate for design, art, and architecture, both through projects and not-for-profit participation. He works to champion the role of architecture and design as a catalytic force for positive change, and for the role the arts can play to deepen mutual understanding. This is reflected in the focus of his practice over the past 15 years, working increasingly with temporary architectural commissions, advocacy programs for architecture and urban design, and six years leading the Naomi Milgrom Foundation, an Australian philanthropic arts organisation.
Sam holds an MBA with High Distinction from RMIT, and regularly undertakes continuing education, including programs with the Harvard Kennedy School and the AICD Foundations in Directorship. Currently, he is collaboratively developing two major new works launching in 2025 and is the President of Open House Melbourne, the region’s largest festival celebrating great architecture and urban design.
